IN-HOUSE DE-SIGN +

DE-CLUTTER™

This service is for you if:

  • nothing is changing for you and you feel tired and depleted

  • you feel hijacked by your surroundings and don’t know where to start when it comes to decluttering; you shuffle things around vs moving things out

  • you live with overcrowded cupboards, closets without breathing room and shelves piled high

  • “what if” and “I might need this” are common statements you hear yourself say

  • you won’t invite people over until you deal with the stuff and it’s been a few years now, maybe even decades

  • you have trouble asking for help

  • your home and life feel restricted and your energy is depleted

Your home and life don’t have to stay this way.

Your choice making may need some help. I love watching clients learn to manage the different voices that direct their lives and I see how helpful it is to have an outside guide and witness to the process of decluttering and re-design as we notice things you no longer see.

We’ll determine your situation and needs in a Home Discovery Call.

  In this process, you will:

  • choose one room or category of items to work on

  • go through the contents learning to discern your own editing process which Patricia will help you discover

  • set up a structure to follow on your own and together. Patricia will guide and support you with regular check-ins determined in your Home Discovery Call, simplifying steps to help you move through to a sense of fulfillment.

  • learn to interpret what your things are telling you on different levels of your being and what to do next with the information you receive

  • discover more about yourself and become clear about the relationship between you and your home, life and self in new ways

  • determine a new design plan for the space you’ve chosen

REVIEWS

De-Sign and De-clutter Service:

Long ago I met Patricia and was intrigued by her career focus. For years I had wanted and needed to re-organize my house and my home-based business, but I was unwilling to ask for help before getting rid of the obviously expendable, the clutter. Finally I surrendered to the reality that I needed help even for that first part of the process. From the day that Patricia and I agreed to work together, I knew that I had made a wise and exciting choice to embark on a new path.

Going through my possessions, category by category, was invaluable in helping me to let go of things. “Less is more” took on a new significance. The more things I gave away, the lighter I felt, in body, mind and spirit. With Patricia’s skilled facilitation, the process of releasing, rearranging, and bringing in new furnishings gave me the chance to explore… What is excellent for me and my house now?

The result:

My belongings are chosen and arranged in a way that is attractive and functional, from my sock drawer to my cutlery drawer! Now I feel that my house is my home.

I would definitely recommend Patricia and her process to others, and I have been doing so. I’m delighted that I made that choice to ask for her help. The return on investment was huge!

My least favourite part of the process was the introspection: discerning my values, trusting my inner guidance, and following through with the completion of each category on my own.

My hindsight idea for what would have been helpful: For me to have committed to finish culling each category on my own, before we began the next one together. I took the easier-in-the-moment route of saying let’s move on to the next category, and I’ll finish the other one(s) soon on my own. How’s that working out for me? It’s still a work in progress, or rather, work that has just resumed in the past while.
